Privacy policy
This page explains what information this website collects about you, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated October 2026. Please read it alongside our website terms of use.
Who we are
This website is run by OsteoV, the clinic of Rosie Scott, registered osteopath (GOsC 7404), Wandsworth, London SW18 2EA. OsteoV is part of Erin Health Ltd, which is the data controller responsible for your personal information and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number ZB998566). Erin Health Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 16589696), with its registered office at Crieff Road, London SW18 2EA. If you have any questions about this policy, or want to use any of your rights below, email rosie@osteov.com.
The contact form
If you send a message through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your message. We use these only to reply to your enquiry. The form is handled by our website host, Netlify, which stores submissions and emails them to us. Please don't include detailed medical information in the form; we'll talk about that properly at your appointment.
The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
Booking appointments
Online booking is handled by Jane (osteov.janeapp.co.uk), a separate clinic management system. When you book, the information you give is held in Jane and covered by Jane's own privacy policy as well as the clinic's patient records arrangements, which we explain when you register as a patient.
Cookies and advertising
We use one optional advertising tool: the Meta Pixel (from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It only runs if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you do, it sets cookies (called _fbp and sometimes _fbc) that tell Meta you visited this site, so we can see whether our adverts are reaching people and show them to people likely to find them useful. Meta may combine this with what it already knows about you if you use its services, under Meta's privacy policy.
We have set it up to share as little as possible. It only records that a page was viewed. It never runs on our contact page, our thank-you page or our patient exercise page, and it never sees what you type into the contact form.
If you click Reject, or ignore the banner, it doesn't run at all. You can change your mind any time using the link, which also appears at the bottom of every page. We remember your choice in your browser for up to 12 months.
The site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google. This doesn't set cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need to deal with your enquiry, and delete them when they're no longer needed. If you become a patient, your clinical records are kept for the period required for healthcare records.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Email rosie@osteov.com and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
