Website terms of use
These terms cover your use of osteov.com. By using the site you agree to them, so please have a read. Last updated October 2026.
Who we are
osteov.com is run by OsteoV, the clinic of Rosie Scott, registered osteopath (GOsC 7404), Wandsworth, London SW18 2EA. OsteoV is part of Erin Health Ltd. Erin Health Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 16589696), with its registered office at Crieff Road, London SW18 2EA. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Erin Health Ltd trading as OsteoV. You can contact us at rosie@osteov.com.
This site is not medical advice
Everything on this site, including the blog, condition pages and exercise guides, is general information to help you understand headache and migraine. It isn't a diagnosis, it isn't personal medical advice and it isn't a substitute for an assessment by a qualified clinician who knows your history. Reading the site, or sending us a message through it, doesn't make you a patient of the clinic.
If you try any of the exercises or suggestions on the site, stop if they cause pain or make your symptoms worse, and check with a clinician first if you're unsure whether they're right for you.
Not for emergencies. If you have a sudden, severe or "thunderclap" headache, or a headache with weakness, confusion, a stiff neck and fever, loss of vision or a seizure, call 999 or go to A&E. Don't use the contact form or WhatsApp for anything urgent, as messages aren't monitored around the clock.
Booking appointments
Appointments are booked through Jane (osteov.janeapp.co.uk), a separate booking system. Your appointment, fees and cancellation policy are covered by the terms you're shown when you book, not by these website terms.
Using the site
You're welcome to read, share links to and print pages from this site for your own personal, non-commercial use, and to share our exercise guides with your family or the people looking after you. Please don't:
- copy, republish or sell our content, or present it as your own, without our written permission;
- use the site in a way that breaks the law, or that could damage, disable or overload it;
- try to get unauthorised access to the site, the server it runs on or any connected system;
- use the contact form to send spam, advertising or anything abusive.
The words, images, logos and design on this site belong to Erin Health Ltd or are used with permission. If you'd like to quote or reuse something (for teaching, say), just ask.
Accuracy and availability
We work hard to keep the content accurate and in line with current evidence, and we cite our sources. But headache medicine moves on, and we can't promise that every page is complete or up to date at the moment you read it. We may change, pause or remove any part of the site without notice, and we don't guarantee it will always be available or free from errors or viruses.
Links to other websites
We link to other sites, such as Jane for booking, research papers, charities and social media. We aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and a link doesn't mean we endorse everything on them.
Our responsibility to you
The site is provided free of charge for general information. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything on it, or from being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Your statutory rights aren't affected. Treatment you receive at the clinic is covered by separate arrangements and by our professional obligations as a registered osteopath.
Your privacy
Our privacy policy explains what information we collect through this site, including the contact form and cookies, and how we use it. You can change your cookie choice any time using the link.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on the site when you use it is the one that applies.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
